- 2 cups cooked macaroni
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Combine the cooked macaroni, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, and Parmesan cheese in a mixing bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
- Shape the mixture into small balls, adjusting size as desired.
- Roll each ball in breadcrumbs, then dip in the beaten egg to help the breadcrumbs stick.
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the balls in the air fryer basket and spray lightly with cooking spray.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes until golden brown and crispy, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Serve warm, perhaps with marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
For extra crunch, use Panko breadcrumbs. You can also add jalapeños or herbs for added flavor.
